Bio-Fogging, What is it?

Bio-Fogging – Sterilises quickly & effectively

Traditional spraying methods leave a residue on the surface which will need time to dry or will have to be wiped down manually, this is because the equipment is spraying large droplets of liquid directly onto the surfaces being treated.

Bio-Fogging uses a different method to deliver the biocide which negates the need to wipe down treated surfaces or wait for fabrics to dry, meaning you can get back to business faster.

A fine mist or fog is dispensed from the machine which helps eliminate all pathogens in places that often cannot be reached by conventional cleaning. The fogging disperses quickly leaving the treated area ready for immediate use.

The biocide particles in the mist or fog are so small that they remain suspended in the air long enough to kill airborne viruses and bacteria. The biocide also eliminates pathogens on surfaces, including ceilings and walls as well as furniture and floors.

Bio-Fogging is able to sanitise whole rooms quickly and effectively and gets to work immediately. Once the treatment is complete the space is free of any pathogens. This is more cost-effective than traditional deep cleaning due to its speed and capabilities, plus there is no need to move furniture or equipment around for the treatment to work.

Our high velocity bio-fogging process is a well-established and recognised technique for enhanced sterilisation of rooms including the atmosphere, furnishings and surfaces.

While the biocide is not toxic, there is always a risk of allergic or other reactions for those present during the fogging operation. To avoid disruption and risk of allergic reactions, we do ask that areas earmarked for treatment are clear of people. If it is essential for staff to remain in the area being sterilised, they must wear the recommended PPE for the bio-agent being used.
